Take part in Pass Portes du Soleil - a weekend event on the 28th and 29th June 2008. With over 3000 participants it starts simultaneously from 7 resorts, crossing the borders with refreshment stands along the way. €34. There is a special smaller course complete with guides for the children.

The area with its many road climbs is also a massive draw for road biking. Morzine was an overnight stop for a stage of the 2006 Tour de France.
Bike Hire - if you don't have your own bike there are many shops in town where you can hire a bike and also get repairs carried out.
